more information about the play
Santa’s Last Christmas: The Musical, is a whimsical yet poignant story about change. The play explores consequences and obstacles that emerge from trying to do the right thing. During Santa’s quest to make a difference in one child’s life, he is faced with overwhelming difficulties with unexpected turns.
The music is multi-dimensional, resulting in an eclectic production that incorporates various styles including traditional pop, samba, blues rock, jazz and ethnic influences.
For four years, we have dedicated our efforts to the creation of a Christmas story that is fresh, funny, poignant, heartwarming, and entertaining, and we believe we have succeeded. The fruit of our efforts is a musical called Santa’s Last Christmas.
Now, it is ready to become a stage production . The script is available upon request and samples of the music are on this page so that you may consider performing it for your school or playhouse.
Santa’s Last Christmas was presented at a successful writing workshop at Bucknell University, and two of the songs from the show, “Nice to Spend the Holidays with You” and “Mrs. Santa” are featured on the Susquehanna Valley Holiday CD.
The music is sophisticated, so we are offering our soundtracks to be used in addition to having live musicians perform the songs. We appreciate your consideration for performing Santa’s Last Christmas and welcome all recommendations and comments.
Sincerely,
